Phew...so long as you didn't play a Dwarf.

Actually I considered Dwarf. Their natural resistance to magic would have been nice. But I needed the extra feat for human and REALLY needed the extra skill points. To get the mageslayer feats he needed 3 levels of spellcraft (cross class w/ a -1 to skill points for the 8 int) Occult Slayer needed 4 levels of Knowledge Arcana (also Cross Class)

You're nothing but a bunch of lazy alcoholics that sleep all day and don't contribute to society.
Wait...
*looks in mirror*
Oh God! I just had the most horrible epiphany!

They often travel hand in hand, though

Just off hand I think you may want to swap the 5th lv ftr for 1 lv of ranger... since it's not really doing anything for you.. while picking up track and favored enemy.
Or Pick up a lv in Warlock or rogue so you can either have a ton of skills ( use magical device)or some magic. But you will lose the 1 to BAB.
The reason is so that you can use these fun toys. Wand of Hunters Mercy ( Yay rangers can use) Hunter’s Mercy(MoF p101) <Trans, VS, 1StdAct, Personal, 1round> – The caster’s next shot with a bow hits automatically and threatens a critical, but the shot must occur by the end of the round after the spell is cast.
Wand of Exacting Shot ( also a ranger spell) Exacting Shot(CAdv p148) <Trans, VS, 1StdAct, Touched, 1min/lvl> – The touched ranged weapon gains the following bonuses against the caster’s Favored Enemies: a) any threatened critical is automatically confirmed; and b) ignores miss chance due to Concealment (but not Total Concealment). Note: the spell fails if the target ranged weapon has any magical effects or properties related to critical hits (such as ‘Flaming Burst’).
Wand of Bless Weapon ( stupid paladin spells.) Bless Weapon(PH p205) <Trans, VS, 1StdAct, Touch, 1min/lvl> – Touched weapon gains special abilities against an Evil opponent only: a) all “threats” become criticals (this does not apply to weapons with critical-related effects, such as a Vorpal weapon); b) is a ‘good’ and ‘magic’ weapon for purposes of bypassing Damage Reduction. c) can hit Incorporeal opponents as if it had a +1 Enhancement bonus.

I actually considered getting a level of Ranger. But the whole "nature's warrior" aspect doesn't really fit with the character. Is there a Ranger Varriant somewhere where he's not a devotee of nature but simply a skilled stalker and hunter of dangerous prey?

ummm urban ranger UA varriant?(UA p55)
replace Know(local) for Know(nature) Sense Motive for Survival. and add Gather Info.
1st Favored Enemy Creature-Type for 1st Favored Enemy Organization
Track for Urban Tracking
and Wild Empathy, at ½ Class level

That would be cool... I could also possibly (with DM approval) choos spellcasters as my chosen enemy *evil grin*

may let you keep the enemy part though... it's all more or less the same you could pick orgainization with favored enemy... or least you usta could.

*grin* I hope they do fly! That's what my bow of dispelling is for. "So, you're 60' up huh?" dispell the flight and watch them fall to the earth.

mmmm Wings of Flying....best purchase ever...Kelis dead on with the substitution level...I wouldnt chose the 5th lv of fighter, but 1st lv of Spellthief is a good call to get those annoying skill ranks you need. I would also look into those irritating spells in Champions of Ruin where you get multiple arrows that all hit with each possessing the same enchantments...the Justice of Weald and Woe is an awesome PrC as well...definately would check that out.

I'm not familiar with that PrC. Can you gimme any idea what it does, Josh? Also I'd love to go with the spell theif, but he's an Occult Slayer who hates magic. He wouldn't use it if he has a choice!
He recognizes the uses of magical items and weapons, and LOVES the irony of using the Mage's own creations to wipe them from all of Toril.
