Because the ebil paladin hasn't done anything...you've just taken over Myrvokal...so to speak.

So? Sue the damn thing! [/devil's advocate] On a more serious note, I'd appreciate if all the chatting reverted to the Mess Hall, instead of clogging this little question thread. Thank you.

Gotcha.. banter taken to banter forum.
However, a serious question HAS been spawned. What lines are there with respect to the liberties we take in our own storylines/regions. It's good to know so we can write freely without totally disrupting GM plans and/or other people's storylines. I was a bit surprised by the easy takeover of Myrkoval. .though I didn't know if anything had been discussed behind-the scenes.
So I guess the more concise question is what are the fuzzy boundaries with respect to our own plotlines and what sorts of things would we need to hear back from an official GM on?

I know that Delkar and I have essentially formed an alliance. I don't think we took too many liberties with our story, of course, but that's basically where (and this was just us) we stopped to get DM approval. I basically assumed that, so long as what I was doing didn't affect the outside world (outside my little group) that I would be okay to write about it. Once Delkar and I decided to turn our attentions to other matters, I got with Josh. The agreements and interactions between our two factions was up to us, obviously. But when we decided to start interacting with the world, we needed a DM to determine how the world interacted with us. lol On a side note/response to the Ice Queen: I promise I'm not picking on you. lol The Helmites have no sights set on you at the moment. You just seemed to be the best-developed "bad guy," and thus became the embodiment of evil when I decided to joke about it. No disrespect or harassment intended...if anything, it was quite the opposite. Peltarch is my domain and charge. Those who threaten it will face my fury. Though...I know were I to be playing a neutral, non-lawful or even evil character...watching the area's two largest religious groups of Lawfully aligned, historically overzealous warrior and clerical fanatics band together would bother me too. lol But rest assured...I'll be playing more realistic Helmites...protection is our domain...not the wanton destruction of all that threatens life and existence in Faerun. Though...the Tormites on the other hand...well...that is the definition of a realistic Tormite. lol Yes...I ramble....

Well, like Josh has said, this is mainly a game for the players, about their interactions and whatnot. The DMs are just here to induce a few storylines and get things moving when they go quiet. And I would like to take the "easy conquest" of Myrvokal to warn you people to expect the unexpected when dealing with me (within reasonable, of course). Ta ta

Heh, so noted.
So, is there anyone in particular we should bug if we feel we've hit a point where one of you should be involved? Are a couple of people focusing on specific regions or the like?

Well, I seem to have the least active social life, so you can always bug me. There are, of course, risks involved in the action, but you're supposed to be heroes But Josh should always be contacted in preferance over me as he's the head admin and is already succumbing to large ammounts of work xD

hahaha....wow...things got balanced out back in the north with one happy post...as for N'jast, I will be honest, the storylines ALL run thru N'jast, not Peltarch. Peltarch is like Happy Valley. N'jast IS Narfell for all Im concerned. As for interactions, some of you are already doing some awesome role playing. When massive decisions are needed, best let a DM handle it. Keli will be back online later tonite finally, and Ive only been busy due to my new niece being born today plus my two businesses. I really dont want MAJOR developments for right now. Get out and explore. See the countryside. Make some friends or some enemies. Decide where to build. Touch each other dirrty. I apologize for not getting everything uploaded; Im just busy, but I will have them up tonite.

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON? Cleo and I go and wrap everything up, and then you go and retcon the whole fucking thing an hour after we've finished up and gone home?

Yar, Cyphus and I want to go poke around mountains. We just aren't sure how you want us to go about that. It seems something like you'd have to handle.

WHAT THE f**k IS GOING ON? Cleo and I go and wrap everything up, and then you go and retcon the whole f**king thing an hour after we've finished up and gone home? I'm not sure we should be quite so. . harsh with each other here. I mean, we should be having fun, and part of that means adapting with good grace. I expect some of us will be shifting/modifying our storylines towards N'jast if it helps the game's flow too.

Ummm...I'm unclear as to what just happened. lol Why the outburst, Melinda?
And on Delkar's note...yeah...we'd like to go poking around with Hark's Finger (pun intended). But let it be known that he and I have no objections to developing that story line ourselves ;D. I mean...it only makes sense that the largest mines of Mithral and Platinum exist in Torm/Helm country. lol j/k of course.
Let us know...I've been enjoying the storylines and RP thus far.

Another question...how will we be tracking time? For instance...I think Delkar and I have only covered about a day's worth of gameplay. But others, it would seem, have gone a bit further. Any advice?

Well, there was this site I found once that used something called fluid time. It was something like a calendar that each player had and kept track of what their chars were doing at a specific time period. In each of their posts, they would specify at exactly what time the post was happening. This way, chars could go on with their lives and post in other threads provided that it wouldn't overlap any other events on the Fluid time chart. Could be a possibility...
