Yeah...we definitely need something like that...but also some other type of control. I mean...how can I be involved in an event that takes place three weeks ahead of when I'm currently acting if I don't know that I'll be there...or hell! Even alive! lol

EDITED: Though not yet written, we do have a code of condut in this board which covers flaming. Please refrain from flaming anyone in this site and don't let something like this get you banned. It would be a severe loss for this site if you left.

Come now. We need to be more optimistic then that Edit. Didn't see melinda's post. Seriously, wtf do you expect? You must have a few loose screws if you thought taking over a city involves only a few intimidate rolls and getting rid of the mayor/leader/whatever. Grow up or go home. I'm sure there are other people that are more then willing to take your place.

Well, there was this site I found once that used something called fluid time. It was something like a calendar that each player had and kept track of what their chars were doing at a specific time period. In each of their posts, they would specify at exactly what time the post was happening. This way, chars could go on with their lives and post in other threads provided that it wouldn't overlap any other events on the Fluid time chart. Could be a possibility... My head hurts just thinking about that. I need drugs. *takes puff* Aaahhh, that's the good stuff. I totally get it now. On a more serious note, alliances would suffer when somebody fluid timed farther in their gaming than their allies. Or wouldnt they?

A point of geography, where exactly is Myrvokal? Judging from the description I would guess up near the ice lakes against the Icrim Mountains. But if I'm wrong, please correct me.
Where is Antlerbones and the other cities in the area on relationship to it? I know they're on the Cold Road. North, South, East, West??? Long distance or short?
Any help here would be awesome

Bill...I'll try to send you the Faerunian atlas I have...it shows a few of the cities controlled by the Ice Queen and is more detailed than most maps.

Melinda and Bill...atlas is on the way. Too big to send from any of my personal accounts except my MSN account. Look out for an email from DBessire1@msn.com...just in case it gets filtered out.

Thanks Denny, It's much more detailed than mine. But I still don't see Myrvokal. So maybe if our fearless leader could clear some of this up it would help a lot of us out.

Myrvokal is a personalized city in western side of the Icerim mountains ... I will post all of the major cities informations later tonight, with descriptions and locations ... we also might want to permanently host a .jpg of the region taken from the FR Atlas and the Unapproachable East supplement ... I will happilly show what's been added altho, the only real addition is Myrvokal and some ruins ... my sister is giving birth to my new niece so Im trying to help out up there ... as for your concerns Stuart, I had the courtesy to email you rather then throwing a reverse tantrum here. Rob is doing a GREAT job of helping out, but it is my story and I didnt feel handing out a city of considerable power and size over a Diplomacy roll and an Intimidate roll against the non-power holding citizenry of the city. I didnt scrub your story, I simply had the story evolve to fit the power structure of the city. Guys, Im sorry we are going fairly slowly here, but I lost a DM (Erik) and a Mod (Alex), while having the other DM (Keli) recuperating from surgery this week. Rob has been a badass to step up and help. Things will NOT continue so slowly ... I just run two businesses, have a family, and am trying to get things posted as I can. As for measuring time, we will use a calendar system once bases are selected. You will fill out the calendar with your directions for your followers to carry out. We will then allow characters to use their time as they will, but they must mark the time off on the calendar. I up for suggestions on how to mark day to day time. I will BBL if any of you want to chat or scream at me
