I'm getting close to being ready here. Obviously we still need characters. I just wanted to ask a few basic questions: Would you all like to begin play knowing one another...or would you rather have an introduction of sorts in-game?
When we get a little closer...I'm going to post the opening scene in the campaign board. Let me know, fellas.

It doesn't particularly matter to me either way. We should be able to jump into the events sooner assuming we already know one another though.

True...that's what I was thinking. However, I think we could engineer it so that you wound up sticking together and meeting pretty quickly and pretty easily. It's up to you guys though. Might be entertaining for us to cover the group's entire time together. Then leave personal histories and stories up to the individuals. Either way...lemme know.

Typically I prefer to meet the other members of the group and not just assume we know each other. But I am fine with it either way.

Sounds good to me. Unless we have any objections from the others (I think Jamond, maybe Melinda and maybe Lawfather)...that's how we'll do it.
Maybe I should post something in the General Board as sort of a "last call" to see if we've got everyone we're gonna get.

Suppose if you want you can just set up the scene whenever you have a chance today...and silent and I...and whoever else comes can start talking.
That way...it gives the idle hands something to do...and we get to meet one another.

I'll work on that right now...though I'd suggest holding off just a bit until we make sure we know who's gonna be posting. I know Bill will be...but I wanna check on the other two first.

Yep...I'm going to leaving myself soon to go off to my classes, so waiting a bit longer isn't a problem.

Okay all...I'm ready to kick it into gear. With the addition of Lawfather, we're up to 4 players. We may add more later, but it seems unlikely. Melinda is out...as is Roonkin. Can't think of any others that were as active as those we have here. This'll have to do. Let's play ball.  |
