Sorry...perhaps this isn't as fitting for the campaign, but I thought it might be interesting/fun.
Here's the PrC I was working on for Luke. I sort of used the Ninja of the Crescent Moon as a base, but took a few things away from it. Luke was hoping for more of a combat-oriented Rogue, you see, with a focus on stealth (i.e. things like being able to move full speed while sneaking, reducing the penalty to hide after attacking from a hidden location, etc.) for combat purposes.
The NotCM was the closest thing I could find. So I took that as a base.
On top of that...the NotCM, as was first revealed, was deemed unbalanced. To balance it, they pulled the BAB progression back from Full to 3/4, and they pulled the high saves all around back to Reflex being the only favored save. Since I was taking away most of the Monk-like abilities associated with it (Monk AC Bonus from Wis and increased AC Bonus progression), the kuji-kuri abilities, the Invisibility spell-like ability, and the Gaseous Form spell-like ability, and Ethereal Jaunt, I upped the BAB bonus (since we want someone combat-oriented anyway) and the Fort save (again a Fighter-type trait). I replaced most of those abilities, but kept some of the stealth things...then I focused a little on combat, and for the overall theme: Luck.
Let me know what you think. Then, Luke, if you'd like, you can take the PrC in the Lantan game.
The Silver Coin Soldier
The Silver Coin Soldier is the epitome of stealth, combat prowess, and plain old good luck…or rather the ability to make one’s own luck. They are no strangers to close-combat and are deadly with both ranged and melee attacks. The Smiling Lady, Tymora, favors these cunning adventurers who do their best to make their own luck. The Silver Coin Soldiers are not an official group within the Tymoran church, but rather random adventurers that pay homage to the goddess of luck for her obvious presence in their lives. Though all are followers of Lady Luck, be they converts because of life experience or lifelong members of the faith, very few are actually members of the clergy, though the life is not off limits to Tymora’s clerics. Most are rogues that have had more than one close brush with death, though some are Fighters or Rangers who have managed to overcome some obstacle through what could only be divine assistance. Occasionally, Silver Coin Soldiers are hired out by the church to take care of important faith-related matters. Though, more frequently, Silver Coin Soldiers are mercenaries or good-aligned adventurers looking for a challenge.

The Silver Coin Soldier
Class Features:
All the following are class features of The Silver Coin Soldier prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Silver Coin Soldiers gain no proficiency with any weapon, armor or shield.
Sneak Attack:
This ability functions identically to and stacks with the Rogue ability of the same name.
Poison Use:
Silver Coin Soldiers know that carefully applied poisons can sometimes turn the tide of battle in their favor. They never risk poisoning themselves when applying poison to weapons.
Stealthy:
Silver Coin Soldiers gain the Stealthy feat from the Player's Handbook for free.
Lucky Bastard (Ex):
Silver Coin Soldiers are practically avatars for luck.
Lucky Roll (Ex)
At 3rd level, the Silver Coin Soldier may use a Lucky Roll once per day. This extraordinary ability allows the Silver Coin Soldier to reroll one roll that has just been made before the DM declares whether the roll results in success or failure. The Silver Coin Soldier must take the result of the reroll, even if it's worse than the original roll.
Slippery Mind (Ex)
At 6th level, the Silver Coin Soldier gains the ability to wriggle free from magical effects that would otherwhise control or compel him. If a Silver Coin Soldier with slippery mind is affected by an enchantment spell or effect and fails his saving throw, he can attempt it again 1 round later at the same DC. He gets only this one extra chance to succeed on his saving throw. This ability can be used with the Silver Coin Soldier's Lucky Roll ability as well.
Defensive Roll (Ex)
At 9th level, the Silver Coin Soldier's luck allows him to roll with a potentially lethal blow to take less damage from it than he otherwhise would. Once per day, when he would be reduced to 0 or fewer hit points by damage in combat (from a weapon or other blow, not a spell or special ability), the Silver Coin Soldier can attempt to roll with the damage. To use this ability, the Silver Coin Soldier must attempt a Reflex saving throw (DC=damage dealt). If the save succeeds, he takes only half damage from the blow; if it fails, he takes full damage. He must be aware of the attack and able to react to it in order to execute his Defensive Roll - if he is denied his Dexterity to bonus to AC, he can't use this ability. Since this effect would not normally allow a character a Reflex save for half damage, the Evasion ability does not apply to the defensive roll, however the Lucky Roll ability may.
Silencing Attack (Ex):
If the Silver Coin Soldier successfully hits a flat-footed opponent with a melee attack, the opponent is unable to speak for one round. This prevents casting spells with a verbal component and shouting warnings or alarms.
Fast Sneak (Ex):
When using the skills Hide and Move Silently, the Silver Coin Soldier can move at his normal speed without suffering a penalty to those skills.
Able Sniper:
At 6th level, the Silver Coin Soldier gains the Able Sniper feat for free, even if he does not normally meet the prerequisites.
Opportunist (Ex):
Once per round at 8th level, the Silver Coin Soldier can make an attack of opportunity against an opponent who has just been struck for damage in melee by another character. This attack counts as the Silver Coin Soldier's attack of opportunity for that round. Even a Silver Coin Soldier with the Combat Reflexes feat can't use the opportunist ability more than once per round.
Stealth Attack (Ex):
Upon reaching 10th level, the penalties for hiding again after attacking are reduced by 10 for the Silver Coin Soldier.
Hope you like it. Let me know what you'd edit or revise. Sorry it took so long to get a post from me today. It took me a while to get this one up and I had an audit today in my office. Finally got this whole mess over with. Gotta be on good behavior until they leave, but I should be okay.
