Liad looks up at Kesson with a confused expression. The elf chuckles as he rubs the pups head, "Sorry Liad fun's over for now. We will save some for you next time." Kesson grabs the reins to his horse and strolls towards the dead goblins.

Arelian shall make his way to the bodies and quickly search their possessions to determine wheather they meet a quick end...or if they are brought back for questioning.

Serol too far away to see in the darkness that any were alive simply grabs the reigns of the horses for those who had ventured further up. He leads the horses and pony up to where the goblins lay bleeding without much concern.
(ooc: if they still live by then, he might consider stabilizing one... but since he can't even interrogate him, he won't loose too much sleep over it.)

Jervis looks up from his notes to see Jack rooting around in their pockets, "Don't do that!" he yells to the man. "This is a critical time. Some of them still breath. Is our deal no longer in place? Is my research to suffer because I can not inspect the bodies?" the little gnome looks like he might be upset enough to ride back to Lethar.

"Fine. Stare at those two. " He says pointing to the ones alive, then continuing on the one he killed.

The gnome is furrious he stands from the body and begins walking back to his pony. Arguing and grumbling the whole way. He was tempted to set Jack's breeches on fire where he sat. This would not be tolerated.

(((They're pretty far gone...but still breathing. Their injuries were quite serious. It'd take some healing to bring them back enough to talk...assuming you can speak to them somehow. And no...I don't think Goblin's count as burrowing mammals. lol I was going to comment on Jack's findings...but now I'm thinking I should wait until the Gnome's spat is done with. lol)))

Jervis continues to stalk off in the direction of his pony which is, thankfully, coming to him in Serol's hand. As he reaches the pony he gives the briefest of thanks to the cleric before turning his pony around on the road. It was dark and the little gnome didn't really want to be in the middle of goblin country in the dark but he was too angry to think clearly at the moment.

Arelian looks around the surrounding area...and up the path the goblins walked.
"Think you can track them kesson?"

Kesson looks at Jack with a smirk, "I should be able too." the elf digs into his pouch and pulls out a 4 foor leather leash and moves over to Liad, "Here boy." he attaches the leash to the dogs collar and moves over to the goblins. "Can you find where they came from boy? Take a good smell." he allows the dog to sniff about the fallen goblins before he heads in the direction the goblins came from. As he moves he loooks for signs of their travel himself and allows Liad to sniff for their trail.

Serol watches the little spat but doesn't really understand it. The little gnome had marched his way back here in quite a huff however. He gave the small wizard the reigns to his pony expecting him to ride in the back and steam.
He is, however, surprised to see the gnome turn his horse around and ride back towards the way they had come in the darkness. Neither of his companions seemed to give this much regard and they had been with the gnome longer than he, but he had never seen him act this way.
He heels his horse after the gnome, out of curiosity more than anything else. His horse is larger than the pony so there is little trouble catching the gnome.
"Master Gnome," he says "where are you going? Has something transpired? We do have a job to be doing."

Kesson, being so engulfed in the task at hand hadn't noticed the little rift developing between the gnome and the rogue looks back to make sure everyone is following close behind and final realizes there is a problem, "Jack whats going on? They drop something?" he asks as he points to the gnome ridding off.

Jervis doesn't stop riding, or even slow down. He just answers the cleric as he goes. "I'm leaving before I'm tempted to do something which I don't believe in." He had begun to wonder what Jack might be like as a skeletal companion. "As for our job, you can have it. I came along for one reason and one only. To further my research. That I've done alone for years. I'll continue to do so now. I bid you well and try not to wish ill will on any of you."

"I haven't any idea...I mearely wanted to make sure they weren't carrying anything that we could possibly question them about.." Arelian said..." Nothing useful besides their equipment...only a gold piece."

"They are really going far. We better go see what's going on." the pulls himself up into his saddle and looks back to Jack, "Lets go."
